We offer bespoke weddings where you decide every detail. Our iconic building established in 1798, beautiful gardens overlooking Bude canal and just minutes away from the beach is the perfect backdrop for your special day

The Falcon Hotel is licensed to hold civil marriage and partnership ceremonies

An introduction…

Whether it be an intimate celebration with close family and friends or a grand occasion we have something for you. We offer midweek (Monday-Thursday) and weekend (Friday-Saturday) weddings, the hotel has 29 en-suite bedrooms and the choice of several different rooms for your ceremony and reception.

There are lots of decisions to be made but we are here to help you through it all and create your special day. Our team will be on hand with all the help and support you need in the run up to your wedding and on the day making sure everything runs smoothly. Although we can’t book suppliers on your behalf, we can certainly recommend many local businesses to you.

 We would like to invite you to the hotel and visualise what your day might look like. After the viewing we can sit down over a glass of fizz and speak to our Events Manager and Head Chef

Ceremony

 You can decide to exchange your views indoors or outdoors at the hotel. 
The biggest of our function rooms is the Acland Suite, seating up to 170, our other indoor spaces include the Gallery, seating up to 74 and our Garden Room up to 52.
The Garden is the perfect space for an outdoor ceremony and can be followed by drinks in our Secret Garden.

Reception and Evening Party

It’s now time to celebrate and the choice is very much yours. We can cater for up to 150 guests in our Acland Suite, or you may choose to have a marque in our garden or those who have a smaller party may choose our Gallery or Breakwater Brasserie.

The day can then be followed by dancing the night away with a disco by our in house DJ or your own choice of entertainment.

Food and drink

On your wedding day it is your decision on how you eat and drink. 
Whether that be charcuterie and cocktails, Prosecco and pizza, a three course meal or something completely different  - lets speak to our Head Chef!

  • Access to our Secret Garden for arrival drinks (there is a charge for sole use)

  • Tables and chairs for your ceremony and reception

  • White table linen and paper napkins

  • Personalised table plan and name cards

  • Cake stand and knife

  • PA system for speeches and background music 

  • Air conditioned function room

  • Discounted accommodation rates for your guests (if over 30 guests attending)

  • Complimentary bridal suite and breakfast for the Bride and Groom for the night of you wedding (if over 50 guests attending
